Sometimes dementia can cause you to see or hear things that are not there, or to believe something is true
even when there is evidence it is false. Sometimes you can feel agitated or angry. We are researching an
investigational drug that may help with these symptoms in people with dementia. We are looking for study
volunteers who are at least 50 years of age and have a caregiver who can come to all study center
Dementia with Hallucinations, delusions, or agitation.
A clinical research study is currently evaluating an investigational drug for its safety and effectiveness in slowing further memory loss in patients with mild Alzheimer’s disease who also have elevated blood sugar or Type 2 diabetes.
Alzheimer's Disease and Elevated Glucose
Are you the one who helps prevent Alzheimer's?
We are looking for individuals, aged 60-75 years, who have not been diagnosed with any memory impairment, but have a specific form of a gene that can increase the risk of developing Alzheimer’s.
NOT ACTIVELY ENROLLING
Has your doctor told you that you have diabetes, are overweight, or have fatty liver?
You may be at risk for a liver disease called NASH (nonalcoholic steatohepatitis), and may be eligible to join a research study evaluating the safety and effects on liver fat of two oral investigational medications when used together, or when used singularly, compared to placebo (an inactive substance), for the treatment of this disease.
